3. What is the difference between a skip, grab or cage hire?

4 Cubic Yard Mini Skip The 4 yard skip can be ideal when space is limited on site or limited amount of waste on your project.

6 Cubic Yard Small Builder Skip The 6 yard skip is Ideal for both larger building and refurbishment projects. Also popular for domestic use, house clearances.

8 Cubic Yard Large Builder Skip The 8 yard skip, also known as the ‘Builders Skip’, is used for heavy duty waste such as rubble, soil and concrete. Generally used on building projects and large garden clearances.

10 Cubic Yard Maxi Skip The 10 yard skip is idea for an office refit or warehouse clearances. A sizable skip for light bulky waste.

12 Cubic Yard Maxi Skip The 12 Yard Skip is ideal for large projects, office clearances and general fit outs. Suitable for light bulky waste,.

5. Terminology explained:

Grab Hire: Suited for moving large amounts of construction and garden waste. Grab lorry uses a grab arm to collect and clear away large quantities of waste from inaccessible areas.

Muck: A convenient solution for removing large amounts of inert materials from dig outs and is more efficient than skip hire.

Rubble: Waste or rough fragments of stone, brick, concrete. Especially debris from the demolition of buildings.

Mixed Waste: Mix of Non-hazardous demolition and construction waste
